BC Forest Safety Council

The British Columbia Forest Safety Council is a non-profit organization that serves as the health and safety association for forest harvesting, sawmills, and pellet manufacturing in British Columbia. The council was established in September 2004 with the goal of improving the safety of forest workers in the province. The BCFSC provides resources, information, education, and training for forest harvesting, sawmills, and wood pellet manufacturing throughout BC. They offer SAFE Companies Certification, in-field safety advice, and auditing services to ensure safety remains a top priority in all forestry workplaces. Their vision is to see every forestry worker goes home safe – every day.
