Yukon First Nations Wildfire

Yukon First Nations Wildfire was founded on the belief that we could incorporate innovative strategies and traditional indigenous knowledge into our desire to be at the forefront of Canadian Wildland Firefighting. If we were able to create this foundation for our employees, we would be able to provide superlative employment opportunities for Yukon and First Nations youth, all while generating financial independence for our partners. With a focus on the capacity development of Yukon indigenous youth, our vision is to foster community resilience while incorporating traditional knowledge and practices in the delivery of Emergency Management services in the Yukon and Canada and Wildfire training.
